Very nice ambience, nice friendly service, the food is really excellent. Very nice outdoor areas. Have been there a few times, more visits will certainly follow.

Good: Trout dishes and the salad are highly recommended. Wine a little too expensive, all other prices reasonable. Recommendation! We will come again and try something from the meat menu next time. The concept of using regional products with an organic certificate if possible is really good. I think you can taste that too. Parking lot, ventilation noises from the area of ​​the fish ponds and the entrance with a miniature golf kiosk are not that great - but the food is so good that I would really like to recommend this restaurant to others. Order the salad too! ;) Fresh, crunchy and you can taste the good quality of the products used.

The Rauchkate is very cozy and we felt very comfortable here despite Corona requirements. The menu is clear and good. The food was good to very good, only the spare ribs were a bit dry.

A relaxed Christmas day ... it should be. The family (19 people) had ordered a table for 2 p.m. for the holiday. When we arrived at the restaurant shortly before the appointment, and explained Innkeeper: The booked table would still be occupied by the previous guests and he couldn't force these people to go (... but we Let wait ... in front of the door!) Original sound: The guests were late and had to eat first ...? - I did not understand... on arrival of the late guests one would have clear arrangements can meet! After 40 minutes of waiting ... we were served a sparkling wine in the entrance area (crowded) (great ... I should have prefer to get something warm to eat) But then it started: the table was quickly replaced ... my totally cold (!) chicken soup came (not a real highlight). The main course (beef roulade, red cabbage, potatoes, sauce) was my highlight - well braised, hot and the seasoning matched ... the dessert was not mine ... I stand not so on apple pie with spray cream, but that was probably my problem. So, all in all, not a relaxed first Christmas day. I was disappointed - wish the gastronomy all the best - but you will have to do without us in the future ...

The rooms are very good, but unfortunately I did not get breakfast as advertised in the tender. A friend who stayed here four weeks ago got a good breakfast. I can not understand why it was, even the bakery, which was recommended to me was closed, so a Sunday without breakfast! Pity ! So I felt a little messed up !!!

Or you can sit outside under the "walkways" There are always theme nights. E.g. Beer tastings with menu. The mini golf course is typical. Has been around for several decades. But apparently is being maintained. The concrete tracks were probably made a few years ago. The track is in a very nice garden that has a nice tree population according to its age. Is really recommended if you want to do something quiet I can't say so much about the fishing ponds. But it was probably not badly frequented. Also possible without fishing equipment. Can be borrowed there. Fishing license is also not necessary. Everything was very well maintained
